Onlangs verwelkomden we Natural Beauty Julie als marketeer. Zij gaat met volle goesting aan de slag voor all things social media, evenementen, workshops en gaat er alles aan doen om jullie nog beter van dienst te kunnen zijn. Dus natuurlijk zijn we benieuwd naar haar beautyroutines. Lees je mee?
Wie is Julie?
- 23 jaar
- Afkomstig uit Bertem
- Deed afgelopen zomer al een studentenjob in onze Experience Store
- Volgde Communicatiewetenschappen aan de KU Leuven, maar ontdekte haar passie voor PR na een stage bij een communicatiebureau. Dus volgde ze nog een specialisatiejaar Public Relations bij Thomas More in Mechelen.
Hoe ben je bij The Natural Beauty Club terechtgekomen?
"Ik ben gebeten door skincare en was al een trouwe klant van The Natural Beauty Club voor ik aan deze job begon. Waarden als clean beauty, duurzaamheid en inclusiviteit voor alle huidtypes vind ik zelf super belangrijk bij de keuze voor een bepaald product of merk. Plus: ik heb een gevoelige huid en investeer dus graag in kwalitatieve verzorgingsproducten."
Vanwaar jouw passie voor beauty?
"Die heb ik dankzij m'n mama, denk ik. (lacht) Ik kon als kind echt geboeid zitten kijken hoe zij haar huidverzorging en make-up aanbracht. En als ze naar de parfumerie of het schoonheidssalon ging, vond ik het geweldig om mee te gaan! Mama was ook degene met wie ik m'n eerste beautyproduct kocht: een BB cream. Toen ik als tiener veel last kreeg van acne en een gevoelige huid bleek te hebben, ben ik me verder gaan verdiepen in skincare."
Hoe ziet je dagelijkse verzorgingsroutine eruit?
"Skincare en make-up aanbrengen is voor mij een echt me-timemoment. Omdat ik het zo ontspannend vind, besteed ik er dus graag tijd aan 's ochtends. Ik reinig mijn huid en breng een toner aan, gevolgd door oogcrème, serum en dagcrème met SPF. Mijn make-up hou ik graag zo naturel mogelijk. Omdat ik een lichte huid heb, gebruik ik graag wat bronzer en een (cream) blush. Verder kan ik niet zonder concealer, poeder en mascara."
Onmisbaar in jouw handtas?
"Ik heb twee grote verslavingen: lippenbalsem en handcrème. Die moéten dus altijd mee!"
Jouw favoriete merk bij The Natural Beauty Club?
"Ik ben grote fan van Evolve en Nuori. Maar vraag me niet om een favoriet product te kiezen, want ik vind echt álles goed!
Staat er al een zot project op de planning waarover je iets kan verklappen?
"Er komt zoveel leuks aan dat ik amper kan wachten om het te delen met iedereen! Maar waar ik binnenkort al heel erg naar uitkijk? De vierde verjaardag van The Natural Beauty Club. Stay tuned, want er komt heel wat leuks aan!"
