Hyperpigmentation

Hyperpigmentation is a common skin condition in which certain areas of the skin become darker than the surrounding skin. This occurs due to an overproduction of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color. Hyperpigmentation can have various causes, including sun exposure, hormonal changes (for example, during pregnancy or birth control), skin injuries (such as scars or acne), and certain medical conditions or medications.

There are various forms of hyperpigmentation, including melasma (often seen in pregnant women), age spots, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which occurs after skin damage. We've compiled our tips and created the ideal skincare routine in our new kit: Glow Mazing Essentials!
