Hyperpigmentation
Hyperpigmentation is a common skin condition in which certain areas of the skin become darker than the surrounding skin. This is caused by an overproduction of melanin, the pigment responsible for our skin's color. Causes can include sun damage, hormonal changes, acne, or skin damage. The dark spots or uneven skin tone can be bothersome, but with the right approach, they are easily treatable.
