Te weinig smeren betekent trouwens dan weer dat je huid niet ten volle kan profiteren van de werkzame stoffen in je skincare. Eveneens zonde!
Hoe weet je of je te veel smeert?
Wees je bewust van hoe je huid reageert op een bepaald product. Kost het veel moeite om een product te laten intrekken, lijkt het alsof het lang bovenop je huid blijft liggen of voelt je huid vettig aan, dan zou dat een teken aan de wand kunnen zijn. Maar ook mee-eters, ontstekingen en andere huidirritaties kunnen erop wijzen dat je te veel smeert of dat een product te rijk is voor jouw huidtype. Andere red flags zijn pilling (er ontstaan rolletjes op je huid nadat je het hebt aangebracht) en gerstekorreltjes (harde, witte bultjes die je niet kunt uitknijpen).
